The eGO external hard drive is a portable drive you can use on any computer, either Mac or Windows based. Although there are several different models of the eGO all use USB 2.0 connections. You typically shouldn't have any issues connecting the hard drive to your computer you may find the Iomega eGo external hard drive doesn't register when you connect. this is an issue you can correct within only a few moments.

      Plug the power cable (provided) into the eGo External hard drive and connect it to a local power outlet.

      Insert a USB cable into the USB port on the external hard drive. Plug the other end of the cable into any available USB port on the computer.

      Power on the Iomega hard drive.

      Insert the driver installation CD into the computer and wait for the driver installation wizard to appear. This CD is provided with the Iomega eGO hard drive when you purchase it.

      Read through and accept the license agreement, then leave the installation name and location as the default settings. Click "Install" and the driver installs onto the computer. Once the driver has finished installing the computer detects your eGo external hard drive.
