Instructions

    • 1

Cut the woven fabric or canvas material to the size of the creel. Cut one section with two sides that fold over and a front and back panel that will be folded together to make the creel itself. Cut another piece of fabric to form the cover of the creel.

    • 2

Cut the leather strip to a width of 1/16 inch with a pair of very good craft scissors. Apply glue to the edges of the strips and wrap one of them around the top panel that will form the cover of the creel.

    • 3

Cut additional leather strips to fit along the top of the creel side panels. Apply glue to the side panels and the leather strips. Then secure the side panels together at the edges, folding them together to form the creel. Apply glue to the leather strip and apply it around the top of the creel.

    • 4

On the front of the creel cover, attach your buckle accent using a small dot of glue. Then attach a length of leather strip as a shoulder strap to each side of the creel.
