Whatever the reason, you can customize and design the uniforms from the comfort of your own home. There are many sites online that allow you to design any kind of uniform by adding text and graphics of your choosing.

1. Power on your Web browser and navigate to a site such as Teamworkathletic.com, Customink.com and UniformsPlusOnline.com.

2. Select the kind of uniform you want to start with. This is important when creating a sports team uniform (you don't want a soccer uniform when you are on a hockey team).

3. Select the kind of uniform you want (often there are a few different options for one kind of uniform).

4. Choose any stripes you want on your uniform. Select the "personalized" option and type in any text you want. Some of the sites allow you to upload a graphic to the uniform. Click "Browse" next to this and choose a picture from your computer.

5. Select how many uniforms you want and click "Submit." You receive an email shortly with an expected price and also if you want to add names to the numbered jerseys (and what numbers you want).

6. Fill out the email message and send it back to the site. Once the site receives your return email, you are billed for the uniforms and you should receive the uniforms in the mail in a few weeks.
