How to Program a Ford Keyless Entry
When the remote for a Ford keyless entry is lost or broken it is easy to replace by visiting a locksmith or looking online at a variety of sites that specialize in new remotes. A new one can also be ordered directly from Ford. Once you have obtained a new remote, programming it yourself is simple and will save you from having to pay a locksmith or mechanic to do it for you.

Insert the key into the ignition and turn it from off to run to off eight times quickly. You will need to end the eighth cycle with the key in the run position. This must be done within 10 seconds.

The doors will lock and unlock to let you know that you have been successful. If they do not, repeat the process.

Press any button on the remote within 20 seconds. The doors will lock and unlock again to confirm that the remote is programmed.

If you have more than one remote to program, repeat the third step with each additional one.
