How to Make Glass & Paper Pendants

1
Lay your paper on your cutting surface with the decorative side facing down. Use your ruler and pencil to measure and cut the paper about 1 mm smaller than your glass tile. You can use scrapbook or origami paper, magazine pages or your own printed images.
-
2
Lay your glass tile on the surface with the frosted or textured side up. Apply a thin, even coat of diamond glaze to the surface. Gently place the paper cutout onto the glaze, making sure your design is facing down and the paper is centered. Allow to dry for 30 minutes.

3
Gently file away any excess paper sticking out from the tile. Apply an additional coat of diamond glaze over the back of the paper to seal it completely to the tile. Let dry for 30 minutes.
-
4
Measure where you would like the bail to be. Apply a small amount of E-6000 to the back of the bail and firmly press onto your glass tile. Let the pendant dry overnight.
-
5
String your pendant onto ball chain, ribbon, leather cord or the stringing material of your choice.

Tips & Warnings
Paper punches, available at most craft stores, are great for cutting uniform paper pieces.
Attach a magnet instead of a bail and use the piece on your refrigerator.
Use a piece of wax paper to protect your work surface when working with diamond glaze and E-6000.
