How to Change the BIOS Setting on a Windows 2000 Server
The BIOS is a rudimentary operating system that powers the basic input and output peripherals of a computer (hard drive, keyboard, display, etc.). It provides the framework for installing an operating system on a new computer, and also allows an installed OS to communicate with different devices. Occasionally a change may need to be made to allow a piece of hardware to work correctly under Windows 2000 Server.
