How to Make B-day Invitations
Having an exciting birthday party does not have to be expensive. Design your own party invitations without spending a bunch of money. Find the supplies you need at a local craft store for less than half the cost of buying custom invitations. Things You'll Need
- Card stock or construction paper
- Patterned paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick or tape runner
- Birthday themed stickers

Fold the card stock in half to create a side-opening card. Turn the card to the right to open it from the bottom.

Cut a large strip of patterned paper to decorate the front of the card. Make the strip large enough to cover the majority of the solid card stock or cut a small strip to add an accent.

Glue the strip of patterned paper to the front of the card with glue stick or a tape runner.

Decorate the front of the card with birthday themed stickers. Add title stickers with words or phrases such as "Please Join us for a Birthday Party" or "You are Invited to a Party."

Open the card front and write the birthday party information on the inside of the card. Include the date, time and location of the party along with the name of the birthday boy or girl. Consider using a calligraphy pen or bright colored journal writing pens for the best results in handwriting.

Add a few additional stickers to the inside of the card for extra decoration.
