How to Wrap a Gift Video
When you need to wrap a gift video, you want to make sure the outside packaging corresponds with the present on the inside. Considering the personal nature of the gift, the wrapping should be tailored to the recipient. The wrapping does not have to be elaborate or expensive but it should reflect care and thought.

1
Decorate the case. Use glue to adhere scrapbooking paper to the video case. Give it ample time to dry and then cut an index card-sized piece out of a white sheet of paper. Glue it directly on the center of the case and then write the title of the video on it.

2
Use appropriately themed wrapping paper. If you are giving the video as a birthday gift, consider using paper that has balloons or presents on it. For a wedding anniversary, the number of the anniversary or "Happy Anniversary" will suffice. If the gift is for an occasion where themed paper may be difficult to find, such as retirement, consider using plain color wrapping paper and writing words or drawing doodles on it.

Use ribbon and a bow for embellishment. Take a large piece of ribbon and wrap it vertically around the left side of the package. Make it sit about an inch away from the edge. Have the ends of the ribbon meet underneath the package, pull them taut, then tape them together and onto the paper to ensure it will not fall off. Take a curly ribbon bow or a regular bow and stick it on the front of the package on the top part of the ribbon.

4
Attach a personal photo on the front. Whatever the subject or persons the video has to do with, include a corresponding picture to go with it. For example, if the video has to do with the recipient's graduation, include a picture on the front of her in her cap and gown. Use four looped pieces of tape on the underside of each corner of the picture to adhere it to the top center of the package so she can take the photo off without damaging it. After taking apart the wrapping, she can have the picture as a keepsake with the video.

5
Attach a gift card to the front. Fold a small white piece of paper in half to form a note card and then punch a hole in the top center. Write a message on it regarding the occasion. Next, tie a piece of ribbon through the hole and hook it around the bow on the front of the package. Drape it so it does not fall across the photo.
