How to Replace a Fuse in a Mitsubishi TV

A Mitsubishi flat screen TV has a number of fuses that are needed to allow the TV to work properly. The fuse box is at the rear of the TV and concealed in a plastic housing. The housing cover will read "FUSE" on its face and is secured in place by one metal screw. The fuses are pulled out of the fuse panel and pushed in to replace them.

Things You'll Need

• Flat head screw driver
• Fuse tester
• New fuse

Instructions

1. Remove the TV from the wall mount. Lay the TV on a clean, flat, padded and dry surface with the back of the TV facing toward you.

2. Locate the plastic cover that has "FUSE" written on it. Remove the screw that is securing the cover to the TV. Remove the cover from the rear of the TV.

3. Touch the two metal pins on the fuse tester onto the two metal strips on the back of each fuse. The light on the fuse tester will light up red if the fuse is bad and green if the fuse is good. Locate the bad fuse.

4. Pull the bad fuse out of the fuse box and replace it with a new one. Replace the plastic cover on the rear of the TV. Replace the screw and tighten. Replace the TV onto the mount.
