How to Clean Rubber Golf Grips

Hold the golf club over a sink under the faucet. Turn the faucet on long enough to get the grip wet. Turn the faucet off.

Squirt a few drops of the dish-washing soap onto the golf club grip. Gently scrub the entire grip with a brush. A small head toothbrush works well for reaching into cracks and crevices.

Rinse the club grip under the faucet to remove the soap and suds. Make sure you rinse it well so there's no residue left.

Dry the grip. Use a clean, soft towel to do the job. Now when you hold the club, your hands should no longer slide around on the grip.

Scrub very gently if your golf club has soft synthetic or rubber grips. Scrubbing too hard can damage the material.
