How To Install Free Yahoo Messenger 7.0

Yahoo! Messenger is a communication program that enables you to chat with other users using instant texts or video chats and share files such as pictures. Yahoo! Messenger 7 is an older version of the program. However, if you prefer the controls or features of Yahoo! Messenger 7 compared to newer versions, you can install the program on your computer quickly and easily.

Instructions

1. Uninstall a newer version of Yahoo! Messenger if you have the messaging program on your computer. To do so, click the Windows "Start" button and click the "Control Panel."

2. Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" to launch the list of installed programs if you are using Windows XP. For Windows Vista and 7 users, click "Programs and Features" and click "Programs" to launch the list of installed programs.

3. Scroll through and click the Yahoo! Messenger version you want to uninstall, and click "Remove/Uninstall." Follow the guided prompts to complete the uninstallation.

4. Go the Yahoo! Messenger 7 download page after you finish uninstalling the newer version. Click "Download." When prompted, click "Save" and download the installation file to your desktop. Double-click the installation file on the desktop and click "Run" to launch the installation wizard. Follow the guided prompts to complete the installation.
