How to Convert iTunes to Windows Media Player Format
By default, music purchased from the iTunes store is in M4A format, which is free of DRM (Digital Rights Management). Once downloaded you can change the format of the file to AAC, MP3, WAV or AIFF in iTunes. In order to switch the format to Windows Media Audio (WMA) you must use a third-party audio converting program, which can be downloaded from online shareware sites. These sites offer free downloads of shareware programs, which allow you to try the program for a limited time before requiring a purchased license.
