How to Practice Racquetball and Squash Etiquette

As you try to trounce your opponent on the squash or racquetball court, remember that you can be courteous and competitive at the same time.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Racquetball Goggles
  • Racquetball Rackets
  • Racquetballs
  • Water Bottles With Squeeze Caps

Step1
Be punctual, especially if you've reserved a court time.
Step2
Serve the ball only when your opponent is ready.
Step3
Make sure your opponent can see the ball at all times.
Step4
Avoid obstructing or interfering with an opponent's shot.
Step5
Call a "let" if obstruction was unavoidable.
Step6
Avoid any contact with your opponent.

Tips & Warnings

  • Wear some form of eye protection gear when playing any racquet-and-ball sport in an enclosed or confined space.

on 11/22/2005 Shout "FAULT!" if you make an illegal serve. Then your opponent will know not to hit it and accidentaly endanger you.
