When you use Microsoft Word to create and print mailing labels, you can not only select from many styles and sizes, you can also choose to create a single label or a sheet of labels. Microsoft Word's many templates and settings allow you to create and print multiple mailing labels with just a few clicks.

Instructions

      Open the Microsoft Word program. Click the "Mailings" tab located in the ribbon at the top of the page.

      Click the "Labels" button located in the "Create" section of the ribbon. A window will open that gives you options for creating labels.

      Select the "Labels" tab. Check the box next to "Full Page of the Same Label." This will allow you to create multiple mailing labels instead of a single label.

      Click the "Options" button and choose the label size. Click "OK." Enter text in the Address box if you want the same information entered on all labels. Click "New Document" if you need to create alternative addresses for the mailing labels.

      Click the Microsoft Office button and select "Print."

  • If you want to create a custom label size, click "Details" after opening the "Label Options" box. You can enter a custom label size here.
