How to Remove a Non-Stealth Boot Virus
A non-stealth boot sector virus infects the initial sector (or boot sector) of your computer's hard drive. It runs when your computer starts up and makes no secret of its presence. You can remove a non-stealth boot virus by formatting your hard drive to erase the virus from it, then reinstalling your operating system. This will ensure that the virus is completely removed from your system.
