Change Your Alltel Prepaid Plan Online

Alltel was one of the largest prepaid cell phone providers. Now the company is owned by Verizon Wireless. In order for Alltel phone users to change their prepaid Alltel plans, they must go through Verizon Wireless and open up a MyVerizon account online. Once the account is set up, a user can modify their prepaid plans up to four times per month.

Instructions

1. Go to Verizon's Alltel customer web page at: http://support.vzw.com/alltel/index.html

2. Select "Change Calling Plan."

3. Sign In or Register for a MyVerizon Account. This will require your current Alltel phone number and your Alltel cell phone. Once you enter your number an automated call to your phone is generated.

4. Enter in a new MyVerizon password and use it to log into your MyVerizon account.

5. Select "Change Price Plan" under "My Plan & Features" once you are logged into your account. Then select the new prepaid plan for your Alltel phone, and select "Confirm."
