How to Refill the Ink in an HP Black Cartridge 27
HP printers have the added advantage of having ink cartridges that are fairly cheap to replace and easy to refill yourself. HP cartridges can be refilled with a compatible HP black refill ink which can be purchased from many online retailers. The only disadvantage, is the job can be messy, so it is important to work on a surface that is easy to clean and even throw on some old clothes in case you spill anything on yourself.
Instructions

1
Put the cartridge on some paper towels, or a piece of card board.
-
2
Peel off the label on the top of the cartridge. Once the label is off, you should see four small holes.
-
-
3
Fill the syringe with 15 ML of black ink.
-
4
Push the ink from the syringe into one of the small holes. It makes no difference which hole since all the ink goes to the same sponge inside the cartridge.
-
5
Replace the label back on top of the cartridge. If you can't replace the label, its alright. The cartridge doesn't actually need the label to work successfully.

Tips & Warnings
It is best to let the ink cartridge sit for 8 hours before using so the ink can saturate the sponge.
