How Do I Copy a Podcast to a CD?

A podcast was originally a broadcast that one listened to on an iPod. It's no longer necessary to listen to a podcast on this device. You can download software that will allow you to download a podcast. You can then burn the podcast to a CD with native software.

Instructions

1. Download and install podcast software (see resources).

2. Visit a podcast website. Find a podcast of interest and copy its address in the browser window by right-clicking on it and selecting "copy". Open your podcast software, right-click on the text box and select "paste". Click the appropriate button to download the podcast.

3. Open Windows Media Player, which comes standard with Windows. Insert a CD-R in your computer. Click on the "Burn" tab. Click and drag your downloaded podcast from your downloads folder to where it says "drag files here" in the Player.

4. Click "Start Burn" to begin burning the podcast.
