How to Delete the History Button
Internet Explorer 6 and 7 offer the option of displaying a history button at the top of the browser window. When you click the button, the history pane opens, from which the saved browser history can be searched. If you configure Internet Explorer not to save your history, however, this button may consume space in the browser window needlessly. Remove the history button in Internet Explorer if you do not use the history function.
