How to Use the Live Search Bar
Microsoft's Live Search Bar is designed to increase the efficiency of your Web browsing, allowing you to enter search queries right into the toolbar's embedded search box. But the Live Search bar is more than just a search engine powered toolbar. The Live Search Bar puts you just a mouse click away from your online picture albums, email account, online calendar, and so on. And though it includes a lot of features, using the Live Search Bar is easy--and chances are, your browser probably has the toolbar already installed.

Define your search type. Click on the arrow, located to the right of the Live Search box--a drop-down menu will appear.

Select from the list, the type of search you will be running (e.g. Web, Images, Maps, Feeds etc).

Type your search inquiry into the Live Search box, and then press the "Enter" key on your keyboard to start your search.
Translator Button

Click on the blue "Translate" button to translate the web page you're currently on. The Translate button will launch the browser based Microsoft Translator.

Click on the field in the middle of the Translator to select the language that the page is currently in from the drop-down menu--if the language isn't already auto-detected.

Click on field to the right of the input language box, to select the output language--select the language from the drop-down menu. Click on the arrow to the right of the output language box to translate the web page.

Right-click on the Live Search Bar, and then select "ToolBar" options from the drop-down menu that appears.

Check the boxes next to the elements--located under the "Toolbar Buttons" heading--that you'd like to include in the toolbar, and uncheck the boxes adjacent to the items you wish to exclude.

Click on the "Get more buttons and add-in" heading at the bottom of the Toolbar Options menu, to navigate to the Toolbar add-ins section of the Windows Live Gallery. Browse the gallery for new buttons to download and install.
