How Do I Get Mach 5 on Speed Racer for PS2?

Unlock the Mach 5 car in "Speed Racer: The Video Game" for PlayStation 2.

"Speed Racer: The Video Game" is a racing game based on the film of the same name. The PlayStation 2 version of the game features the newly remodeled Mach 6 car that Speed Racer uses in the film, but you can also unlock the Mach 5 car from the original television series by using a cheat code or completing the entire game once.

Instructions

1. Start the game in your PlayStation 2 and then click the "Option" button in the main menu by pressing the "X" button.

2. Select "Cheat Codes" in the "Options" menu by pressing the "X" button.

3. Press "L2," "R2," "L2," "R2," "Triangle," "X" and "Circle" in order. A chime will sound and a pop-up message will appear saying you unlocked the last three cars.

4. Press the "Start" button on your controller and click on the "Return to Main Menu" option. Click on the "Start Game" option.

5. Choose your character and then look for the Mach 5 car in the "Select a Car" screen.
