How Do I Program my Nyko Xbox 360 Intelligent Remote to my TV?

There are various third-party remotes for the Xbox 360 that can easily navigate the console's dashboard and work the DVD-playback controls. One of those is the Nyko Intelligent Remote, which also doubles as a television remote. The remote control has a somewhat tiresome television programming process that requires the user to program each key independently. The remote can be programmed with virtually any television.

• Original television remote

Instructions

1. Position the Nyko Xbox 360 Intelligent Remote on a flat surface next to the TV's original remote.

2. Press the "Set" key on the Nyko Xbox 360 Intelligent Remote. This puts your remote into programming mode.

3. Press a key on your Nyko Xbox 360 Intelligent Remote that you wish to program for your television, such as the "1" key.

4. Press the "1" key, or the key that you chose in step 3, on your original remote. The Nyko Xbox 360 Intelligent Remote will then be programmed to remember that key for your TV.

5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for additional keys that you wish to program for your television.
