How to Fix or Replace a Revere Tea Kettle Whistle
Revere tea kettles, known for their stainless steel and copper body, have been in production for several decades and have even become treasured heirlooms due to their craftsmanship and durability. The tea kettle whistle, however, can become an issue for all tea pots, including stainless steel ones. There are several ways to troubleshoot this before moving to replace it however. Run a pipe cleaner through the tea kettle whistle to dislodge any debris that may be obstructing the clear path of steam and thus the audible whistle.

Combine water and vinegar, in equal proportions, in the tea kettle. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes to remove lime and mineral buildup, which could be interfering with the whistle. Rinse.

Check your warranty information. Revere offers a one year limited warranty on its tea kettles. If your kettle applies you can contact the company customer service department to have the kettle replaced.

Check flea markets, yard sales, vintage stores and auction sites to find a replacement kettle whistle or entire tea kettle if your warranty does not apply.
