Check your computer and ensure that it is wireless-enabled. Your computer or laptop will need to have a wireless Internet card installed and enabled in order to use Sky Broadband wirelessly. Make sure your Sky Broadband router is installed and turned on.

Open your wireless network menu. This process will vary based on your operating system and computer. Mac users may find this option under "Airport" on the top toolbar of their screen, while Windows users may find their wireless network menu in the task tray on the bottom toolbar of their screen. You may need to refer to your operating system's instructions to locate this option.

Select your Sky Broadband Internet connection from the list of available connections. Your connection ID will be on the card that arrived with your router. It will be named "SKY" followed by 5 digits, such as "SKY12345." This is your SSID. Click the Sky connection listed on your card.

Enter your network key. This is also printed on the card containing your SSID. This password will allow your computer to access the wireless network. Once the key is entered, you will be connected to the wireless connection and should be able to access the Internet.
