How to Make Fake Facial Blood
Halloween costumes can be made instantly with any outfit and some fake blood. Put on a suit, some plastic framed glasses and some facial blood and you can pass as a dead librarian, or wear your regular clothes and some fake blood and you can be a dead version of yourself. Making your own fake blood at home is easy and uses ingredients that can be found at any grocery store. Corn syrup blood can be made quickly and will dry faster on your face than corn starch blood, which requires more ingredients but looks more realistic.

Tips & Warnings
Allow the fake blood to drip down your face as it dries. This will make it look more realistic.
Add blue food coloring to create darker and more realistic shades of blood.
Put the blood on your face after you put on your costume and other makeup. This will ensure that it does not get smeared.
Store the fake blood in the refrigerator until you use it.
Use care when using the food coloring and fake blood as it can stain clothes.
Fake blood may temporarily color your skin, but the color will wear off quickly if scrubbed with warm water and soap.
