Replace old cracked gumballs with new fresher tasting gum.

You can quickly remove the gumballs from a Rhino gumball machine without spending a coin or causing any damage. Rhino Vending brand gumball machines are made in a variety of styles, materials and finishes for both home and retail use. Though these gumball machines vary in their appearance, their basic design and inner workings are quite similar. Empty the machine's cylinder to clean the inside parts or just to replace its contents with fresher gumballs.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the small Rhino gumball machine key into the keyhole on the top of the machine. Rhino Vending gumball machines come with two small keys so that you have a spare copy.

    • 2

Twist the key a quarter turn clockwise to unlock the lid.

    • 3

Lift the lid off the top of the Rhino gumball machine and set it aside on a flat surface with the key still attached.

    • 4

Tilt the Rhino gumball machine to pour out the majority of the gumballs and pull out any that remain by hand.

    • 5

Center the metal post so it lines up with the center of the lid as you lower it back onto the Rhino gumball machine. This can be difficult when the gumball machine cylinder is empty. Looking in from the side as the lid is lowered onto the cylinder can help to line things up.

Twist the key one quarter turn counterclockwise and pull it up out of the hole.

Tips & Warnings

  • Metal and glass Rhino Vending gumball machines are designed for retail use to protect the coins and candy. Attempts to break into a gumball machine without using the right key will cause permanent damage.
