How Do I Set Up an American Camper Sequoia Tent?
The most essential item for camping is a good quality tent, and preferably one that is large enough to comfortably shelter your camping group. An American Camper Sequoia tent is an 8-by-7, three-person tent, that is great for the spring and summer camping season. The tent features nylon taffeta constructed walls, and rip-stop polyurethane flooring, making the American Camper Sequoia extremely durable in rugged terrain. The Sequoia is a standard dome-tent, and is simple in set up.

1
Lay the tent out on a flat even area of the ground, and move any rocks, sticks or other debris out of the way. Pull each corner of the tent to ensure that the tent is nice and flat.
-
2
Assemble the three tent poles by interlocking each individual pole section together. The two longer poles will have eight sections each, and the fly pole will have six interlocking sections.
-
-
3
Slide the two tent poles through the pole sleeves located at the top of the tent. The poles will cross one another through the sleeves at the center of the tent. Place each pole end into the corner grommets located at the bottom of each tent corner.
-
4
Place the tent stakes through the stake grommets, at each corner of the tent. Use a hammer to drive the stakes into harder ground.
-
5
Drape the tent fly over the top of the tent, and clip the hooks, located at each corner of the fly, to the loops located on the corner seam of the lower portion of the tent corners. Loop the velcro straps on the underside of the fly around the tent poles on all four sides.
-
6
Slide the fly pole underneath the fly at the top center of the tent. The fly has two pockets that seat each end of the pole. Insert the fly pole into the pockets on the front and rear of the fly.

Tips & Warnings
Place a tarp or tent footprint pad on the ground prior to setting up the tent. This will help avoid damage to the bottom of the tent, and ensure longer life of use.
