How to Use VNC Software
VNC, or virtual network computing, software allows you to connect to and control a server from a remote computer by using a graphical desktop. This is different from telnet or ssh, which only allow you to connect via a text-based interface. VNC can be used on any operating system and can be used to connect to a Windows computer from a Linux or Mac computer. Two free VNC software applications are RealVNC and TightVNC.
