How to Get Dreadnought on Dawn of War 2
In "Dawn of War II," you are tasked with leading a small group of commandos against a large enemy force, unlocking new unit types for your small army along the way. One of these units is the Dreadnought, a large walking tank that is one of the most powerful units in the game. To unlock the Dreadnought, you will need to follow a specific path, completing certain campaign missions before others.

2
Complete the Prime Samples mission. Defeat the Tyranid forces on the map and collect the gene samples they are guarding. Use a combination of cover and flanking tactics against the Tyranids. Once you have collected five samples, the mission will end.

3
Choose the mission Into The Hive. It will appear once you have completed the Prime Samples mission.
-
4
Acquire the bio sample from the Tyranid forces. Avoid the spore mines and defeat the Tyranid using the same strategies as you did in the Prime Samples mission. Make your way to the extraction point.
-
5
Fight the Hive Tyrant at the extraction point, using a combination of explosives and artillery. Avoid melee combat. Once the Hive Tyrant is at 50 percent health, the Dreadnought will deploy. Use the Dreadnought to destroy the Hive Tyrant and finish the mission. The Dreadnought will now be selectable for your squad.
