      Press the "Menu" key on your smartphone to access the media application. In the media application, click the "Videos" media type. Click a category if necessary. Click the selected video to play the media file.

      To play a video on a Web page, click on the link for the video in the browser. Click "Open". To save a video from a Web page, click on the link for the video in the browser. Click "Save". Type a name for the video, and then click "Save" again.

      To pause a video media file, press the "Pause" icon. To resume playing the video, press the "Play" icon.

      To fast-forward or rewind a video, click the progress bar. Roll the trackball to the right or left. Click the trackball.

  • The video formats supported by the Pearl 8100 are: MPEG-4 Part 2 - Simple Profile + bvops (including DivX files in this format), as well as H.263 Profile 0 and Profile 3.

  • The video file extensions supported by the Pearl 8100 are: .avi containing MPEG4 Part 2 and H.263; .mov containing MPEG4 Part 2 and H.263; .3gp containing MPEG4 Part 2 and H.263; .mp4 containing MPEG4 Part 2 and H.263; .m4v containing MPEG4 Part 2 and H.263; and .mpg containing MPEG4 Part 2 and H.263.
