Several viruses can change the screen saver on your computer. Generally, these are fake antivirus programs that change your screen saver to display a false security alert. In addition, these viruses will remove the display and screen saver tabs so that you are unable to change the screen saver back to normal. Thus, to fix this problem, you must first remove the virus and then restore the display and screen saver tabs.

      Open your antivirus program. If you do not have an antivirus program, consider purchasing or downloading one.

      Update your antivirus program. Most antivirus programs can be updated by right-clicking on the icon and selecting \"Update\" or \"Check for Updates.\"

      Run a scan with your antivirus program. This will detect and remove any viruses.

      Click on the \"Start\" menu and select \"Run,\" once the scan is complete.

      Type \"regedit.exe\" (without the quotation marks) into the open box and click \"OK.\" The Registry Editor window will open.

      Right-click on \"NoDispSettingsPage\" in the right pane of the Registry Editor window and select \"Modify.\" Change the value to \"0,\" and then click \"OK.\"

      Right-click on \"NoDispScrSavPage\" in the right pane of the Registry Editor window, and select \"Modify.\" Change the value to \"0,\" and then click \"OK.\"
