How to Remove Ear Pads From Sennheiser Headphones
The padding around your Sennheiser headphones is in direct contact with the sweat, oils and other substances in your skin. These substances eventually deteriorate the ear pads and expose the headphone's metal speakers. Removing and cleaning your Sennheisers regularly will help keep debris from building up on the headphones.

Unplug the Sennheiser headphones from your MP3 player or other device.

Grab the back of one of the ear pads.

Pull the ear pad up and away from the headphone's speaker.

Lay the ear pad to the side.

Repeat Steps 2 through 4 for the next ear pad.

Wipe the Sennheiser headphone's speakers with a soft cloth or rag to remove any buildup on the speakers.
