How to Use SanDisk on a PC
A SanDisk, or SD card, is a small, portable memory card most often used in digital cameras, gaming devices and mobile phones. If you want to upload content from your device to the computer, you need to connect the SD card to your computer. When doing so, you have a few different options. Some computers have a built-in card reader, allowing you to slide the card directly into the computer. You can also connect a USB card reader to your computer, or you can insert the SD card into the device that uses it and connect the device to the computer.

1
Insert the SD card either into the computer, into the mobile device or into the SD card reader. If you have an SD card reader built into your computer, you can skip the next step.
-
2
Connect the card reader or the digital device to the computer through a USB cable. The card reader already has a built-in USB cable, but a digital device requires you to plug a USB cable into the device's USB port. Plug the other end of the USB cable into any USB port on the computer.

3
Click the "Start" button, followed by "Computer" (or "My Computer" if using an older version of Windows). Double-click the removable device icon to open the SanDisk window.
-
4
Click-and-drag files in and out of the SanDisk window, depending on whether you want to add or remove files to or from the mobile memory card.
