How to Clean a Website's History
Clearing website history after you search the Internet is usually done through your browser. Whether you're using Internet Explorer or Firefox, both browsers maintain some trail of website history by default. If you do not wish to change these defaults to affect all websites but would just like to clear individual website history, you can do so using a couple different methods. Note that clearing website history does not affect saved passwords that you might want to keep.
Instructions

Clearing History in Firefox
-
1
Open the Firefox browser and navigate to the "View - Sidebar - History" section on the toolbar at the top of the browser.
-
2
Scroll through the history of websites, which is typically listed in alphabetical order. The websites are listed under folder names, including Today, Yesterday, Two Days Ago and so forth.
-
-
3
Click the name of the website you wish to delete. Select the delete key on your keyboard or right-click with the mouse and select "Delete."
-
4
You can also clear all browsing history by selecting "Tools - Clear Private Data" from the toolbar and selecting the "Clear Browsing History" box. Clicking "OK" will delete all browsing history, not just an individual website. This does not affect cookies and passwords.
