How to Create Your Own Spirit Board
A spirit board, commonely referred to as a Ouija board, is a tool use for contacting spirits and other supernatural entities. Instead of spending a lot of money to buy one or going through the trouble of locating wood to make a fancy one, I'll tell you how to make a simple one out of just cardboard or paper and a juice glass.
Things You'll Need
- Large sheet of white paper
- Large rectangle of cardboard
- A marker of your choice
- A juice or shot glass

Take your paper or cardboard and lay it flat. Ponder how you want to set it up. Usually, a spirit board has the numbers 0-9, all the letters and the words: No, Yes, and Goodbye inscribed on it.

First, add the letters and numbers. Center them in the middle of the board. You can write the letters in two rows or just curve them around the board if you like. Underneath the letters, write the number 1-9 and then add 0 at the end.

At the top of the board, write the words YES and NO in capital letters. Come to think, the alphabet should be in all caps too. At the bottom of the board, write the word GOODBYE

Now that you've got the basics covered, you can add some decoration to the board if you like. Parker Brothers adds sun and moon symbols on their ouija boards, but you can add whatever you like. If you want to draw a cross or a pentagram, do that. This is your personal board.

The juice or shot glass is what you will use to move around the board. Turn the glass upside down and gently rest your fingers on the top of it. And now you're finished!

The board it merely a tool, it cannot become possessed or open a portal to hell.
Always be polite with whomever you're speaking to.
Never ask a spirit to manifest physically. You're just asking for trouble if you want them to appear or move something in the room.
Never anger a spirit. Again, it's just asking for trouble.
