How to Change the File Extension on a Lot of Files at Once in Windows thumbnail
Changing the file extension of a file may allow it to be run by a program in some cases.

Changing the file extensions of multiple files in Windows is not possible with any native tools. In order to complete the process, you have to download a program, which is free, called "Extension Renamer." Windows only allows you to change the file extensions of files one at a time, whereas you can select batches of files with Extension Renamer and change their file extensions.
