Perform exercises three to four times per week that strengthen your lower body, especially the hips, thighs and butt. Thigh friction can hinder proper stride, so toning these areas will help you lose inches, increase your legroom, improve muscle strength and boost confidence while minimizing uncomfortable friction.

5
Improve your posture by being aware of it every time you walk. Be aware of your spine's alignment while sitting; keep your spine straight up against the back of the chair. Improving posture will naturally strengthen core muscles and increase your confidence.
