How to Adjust the Color on a Projection Screen TV
When using a projection television, you may notice some of the colors are not exactly how you think they should appear. This includes skin tones appearing too red or possibly greenish, or perhaps the overall screen is tinted blue. You can correct all of these issues by adjusting the color settings on your projection television, using the TV's remote control.

1
Power on the television and press the "Menu" button on your TV. Select "Video" (or "Picture") and the television's image settings appear on the screen.
-
2
Select "Color." This is the saturation level of your TV. If color appears to bleed out of objects (like the green from someone's jacket is also seen on the background sky), adjust the saturation level down to correct the problem.

3
Find the "Hue" setting. This adjusts the green and red tones of the picture. If your picture is too red, adjust the settings toward the green, and vice-versa.
-
4
Select "Color Temperature." This is the overall look of the television. If your television is too red, change to "Cool Tones." If the image is too blue, adjust it to the "warm tones."

Tips & Warnings
You can test your television to the TV broadcast's standards by waking up early for the beginning of the broadcast day. At the start of the day you can see a screen that has a series of green, red and blue bars (plus a few black and white vertical bars). Adjust the contrast, hue and color so there is no bleed over between the different color bars and you can see distinctly between all three colors.
