How to Care for a Bosch Dishwasher
Bosch is a company that produces appliances including washers and dryers, refrigerators, ovens, microwaves and dishwashers. The company claims that the dishwasher is almost silent and "unrivaled" in water and energy efficiency. To keep it working so efficiently and to keep it as clean as possible for use you must periodically maintain the machine. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Take care when loading items. Locate sharp items away from the edges to avoid damaging the door seal. Make sure nothing pokes through the bottom of the racks that could block the rotation of the spray arms.
-
2
Check the large object trap periodically for bones, glass, straws, toothpicks and other objects that do not make it through the filtration system. Bosch dishwashers have a triple filtration system at the bottom of the dishwasher. To remove the large object trap, turn the ring handle to the left and lift the large object trap out for inspection.

Check the spinning spraying arms periodically as well. To remove the bottom spraying arm, simply pull up gently. To remove the top spraying arm, twist the nut holding it in place clockwise and gently pull down. Look at the holes, poking out any blockages with a toothpick.

4
Clean the outer edges of the inside of the door with a dampened clean cloth when food gathers there. Wipe down the seal to the door as well, which can also gather food. Performing this task will keep your dishwasher fresh.

Clean the outside of the door regularly. For colored doors use a cloth dampened with soapy water. Stainless steel doors require using a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner on the cloth.
