How to Access Streaming Radio on a Cell Phone
Thanks to advancements in technology, cell phones are far more than just devices to make phone calls. Smart phones and the iPhone have the ability to download applications, also known as "apps." Apps can perform a variety of functions such as translating languages, providing social networking access or streaming radio. Once you have the proper application you can easily stream free radio.

You will need to be in an area where your cell phone has sufficent service and Internet access, either in the form of Edge, 3G or Wi-Fi. According to Pandora, you can also rate songs using thumbs up and thumbs down, and bookmark favorite artists and songs, making free radio applications better than most radio stations on FM radio.

Tips & Warnings
Connect your phone to your car radio or dock it on speakers to listen to the free streaming radio as you normally would listen to music. You can connect your phone to a car using an auxilliary cable and the AUX input in your vehicle, if equipped. According to Griffin Technology, this connection will allow you to play your music player through your car stereo speakers.
There will be no charge for using the service, however, normal phone charges will apply. For example, if you have an unlimited data plan then you will see no unusual charges. If you are charged based on how much data is sent or received from your phone, expect to see much higher bills.
