3. Look closely at the zipper on the handbag. An authentic Gucci handbag will have the designer's initials imprinted on the zipper. If this is missing or if it does not look professional, the handbag is fake.

4. Touch and examine the lining in your handbag. This detail is often overlooked in replica handbags. The stitching on an authentic handbag will be seamless. The lining will be durable and luminous. The lining on a real Gucci will have no visible flaws.

5. Look for an inscription on the inside of the bag, listing how and where the purse was made. This appears on all Gucci handbags and not on any fakes.
