How to Archive a Calendar in Outlook 2003
Like a traditional calendar, your Outlook 2003 calendar stores your appointments, birthdays and other events in chronological order by month. These computerized entries take up space within the application's configuration and on your computer's hard drive. To reduce the amount of space the calendar entries use, you can archive or compact the older entries. This process also reduces the chance of the Outlook 2003 Personal Storage Table (PST) file becoming corrupt. The archive process is a built-in feature activated through Outlook 2003's "File" menu.
