Instructions

    • 1

Screw the two cup hooks into the outside of the window box, about 12 inches apart.

    • 2

Fold the greenery vine into thirds. Fold the left side in and then the right.

    • 3

Clip several 3-inch strands from the floral wire with the wire cutters.

    • 4

Bind the vine together by attaching the floral wire on both ends and in the middle. Twist the wire so that it is not sticking out. Clip off the excess wire.

    • 5

Clip the poinsettia flowers from their bushes. Leave about 4 inches of stem on them. Slide the stem into the greenery and secure them in place with floral wire.

    • 6

Place one large poinsettia in the middle and one on each end.

    • 7

Clip the smaller poinsettias from their bush. Tuck them into the swag where you would like them, amongst the larger flowers. Tie them in place with wire.

    • 8

Twist the mini lights around the swag loosely. Secure the floral wire. Hang the swag on the cup hooks on the front of the window box.

Tips & Warnings

  • Fluff a big red bow and add it to the middle of the swag. Use ribbon material conducive to being exposed to the elements.
