How to Use a Digital Vaporizer
Vaporizers offer the aromatherapy benefits of breathing in the vapors from herbs. This is much healthier than burning and smoking the herbs. Eucalyptus is a good herb to use with a vaporizer when you have a cold. Vaporizers now come with a digital heating element. This allows you to control the temperature setting which is important because different herbs require different temperatures to vaporize.

1
Plug in the digital vaporizer. Some digital vaporizers require 110 volts of electricity while others require 220 volts. Check the instructions if you are unsure as to the proper voltage.
-
2
Press the large button in the front of your digital vaporizer to turn on the machine. Let the vaporizer heat up for 30 minutes the first time you use it. After that, you only will need to wait 5 to 10 minutes. The initial 30 minutes is necessary because the unit contains packing oils that need to be burned off.
-
3
Set the temperature by turning the big knob to the right to increase the temperature or to the left to lower it. The LCD screen clearly will show the temperature.
-
4
Grind up your herbs and place them in the glass bulb at the end of the tubing. You only want to fill it about one-third of the way. Attach the glass bulb to the vaporizer unit and wait for the herbs to begin to vaporize.
-
5
Breathe in the vapors through the mouthpiece end of the tubing.
-
6
Press the large button when you are finished to turn off the machine. Unplug the unit, and remove the tubing.
