Download Video to Your Insignia MP3 Player

Insignia is owned by the popular retailer Best Buy. The Insignia brand includes TVs, computers, and also a popular line of MP3 and other portable media devices. The Insignia MP3 player cannot only play audio files, but it can also play videos and display photos. Putting video on your Insignia MP3 player can be accomplished fairly easily by just using Windows Explorer.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect your Insignia MP3 player to your computer with the USB sync cable that came with it.

    • 2

Click on "My Computer" from the start menu, and then locate the MP3 device.

    • 3

Double-click on the device to open it up. Minimize the device folder so you can reach other areas of your computer desktop.

    • 4

Locate the video on your computer. Video must be formated into MPEG-4 with an XVID Codec to be read and played by Insignia players. (Insignia recommends using ArcSoft Media Converter if you need to convert your video files, see Resources).

    • 5

Drag and drop the video into the "Video" folder on your Insignia MP3 Player.
