How to Check an AT&T U-verse Voicemail
AT&T U-verse is one of AT&T's most popular products. U-verse is a Very High Bitrate DSL, or VDSL, service that allows customers to receive a faster connection and download speed for transmission through phone lines, cable connections and Internet connections. Many AT&T U-verse customers enjoy the phone service's voice mail system that allows users to check their messages both by phone and online.

Listen to Your Voice Mail By Phone

Dial *98 from your home phone. Or, dial your home phone number from another phone number and then press the * key once you hear the voice mail greeting.

Enter your mailbox PIN number. If you don't have a mailbox PIN number, you can press 4 for Mailbox Settings, then 3 for Security Options and then 1 to change your PIN number.

Press 1 to listen to your messages, 2 to save a message or 3 to erase it.
Listen to Your Voice Mail Online

Go to the AT&T online account management page. You must have speakers connected to your computer in order to hear any messages online.

Enter in your user ID and password, then click "Log In." If you don't currently have an account, click "Register" and fill in the necessary information.

Click "AT&T U-verse Voice" on the AT&T U-verse Central home page.

Click "New Voicemail Messages."

Click on the "Sound" icon next to the message you want to hear. Then click "Play" to listen and click "Stop" to end playback. Save voice mail messages by right-clicking on the message and selecting "Save." Select the message and then hit "Delete" to get rid of any voice mail message.
