Fresh and spicy mango salsa can be made at home and goes perfectly well with salmon, halibut or as salsa for fish tacos. Also enjoy it as a dip for roasted bread or even plain chips. Does this Spark an idea?

  • 2 ripe firm mangoes
  • 1/2 tsp. chopped jalapenos
  • 2 tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp. ground coriander
  • Paprika (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. mint leaves
  • Mixing bowl(s)

Instructions

    • 1

      Peel mangos and cut them into cubes.

    • 2

      In a small bowl, combine the cut mangos with the jalapenos, cilantro, ground coriander and lime juice.

      Sprinkle paprika if you like for additional spicy flavor. Paprikas come in "mild" to "hot" flavors. Select the one you like the best.

      Garnish with fresh mint leaves. Serve fresh.
