How to Repair Sparkle Shoes

How to Repair Sparkle Shoes thumbnail
Repair your sparkle shoes easily.

Sequins and rhinestones cover sparkle shoes, which are reminiscent of Dorothy's shoes in the movie Wizard of Oz. Women wear sparkle shoes to add a bit of glitz to their wardrobe and outfits. Girls wear them because the shininess makes them seem magical or very dressed up. If you have noticed you have lost a few sparkles from your shoes, save money by repairing your shoes rather than buying new ones.

Instructions

    • 1

Lay a sparkle shoe on a piece of large, white paper in a well-lit area, with side of the shoe needing attention facing you.

    • 2

Glue threads ends down on the shoe to prevent further sequin loss.

    • 3

Let the shoe dry for a couple of hours.

    • 4

Dab a small drop of shoe glue on the place that needs repair.

    • 5

Add one sequin at a time, pushing the sequin or stones in place with tweezers. Wait ten seconds holding the stone in place to allow the glue to dry a bit.

    • 6

Continue to add more glue and stones as necessary to your damaged sparkle shoe.

    • 7

Let your sparkle shoe dry for a couple of hours.
