How to Pierce a Reborn Doll's Ears

You can pierce any doll's ears if the earlobes are not attached to the head.

Reborn dolls are baby dolls carefully handcrafted to look incredibly realistic. Since the earlobes are unattached to the Reborn doll's heads, you can pierce them. While piercing a doll's ears is easy, the process is permanent and requires that you are committed to always having earrings in. Using the proper tools is also important, because one mistake can damage the doll and ruin the realistic vibe.

Things You'll Need

• Pen
• Needle-nose pliers
• Thin needle
• Lighter
• Earrings

Instructions

1. Use a pen to make a dot on the Reborn doll's earlobe where you wish for the earring to be. Repeat on the other side.

2. Hold a thin needle with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Activate a lighter and hold the tip of the needle over the flame for 10 seconds.

3. Pierce the needle through the earlobe in the marked spot immediately after removing it from the flame. Return the needle tip to the flame of the lighter for 10 more seconds and repeat on the other ear.

4. Put the earrings of your choice in the doll's ear, making sure that the back stopper of the earring is secure.
