How to Get Doubloons in Neopets

Collect doubloons for Krawk Island.

Neopets is an online world where players take care of virtual pets. Users can buy clothes, toys, food and more for their pets. In one particular location on the game's map, Krawk Island, users can use doubloons to train their pirate pets at Dr Threelegs' Swashbuckling Academy. You can obtain the doubloons in a few different ways, some of which are easier than others. To maximize your doubloon intake, it's probably best to use a few different methods.

Instructions

1. Raid Krawk Harbor to begin a game in which a pirate ship attempts to escape from the island. Follow the massive pirate ship, while your character avoids water mines and collects treasure left behind by the the Black Pawkeet. Salvage as much treasure as possible and you may end up with one or more doubloons.

2. Play various games (such as Ultimate Bullseye and Turmac Roll) to obtain neopoints. Collect at least a few thousand neopoints and then visit a nearby shop or auction to purchase doubloons with your neopoints. You can also use neopoints to purchase doubloons from fellow players online.

3. Visit Coltzan's Shrine and wait for 55 neopet seconds after the minute to pray and receive your blessing. If you time it just right, you should get some doubloons. However, you may receive several hundred neopoints instead, which can also be used to purchase doubloons later. Your account must be older than four days old to visit Coltzan's Shrine, and you can only receive a blessing once a day.

4. Play the Black Pawkeet Slots mini-game on Krawk Island for a chance to win doubloons. The betting option must be set to "max bet" in order to win doubloons. Play as long as you can afford in order to maximize your doubloon intake potential.
